Hinged steel conveyor belts are made of stainless steel pans connected by hinges. Their piano-hinged design forms a flexible conveying surface that articulates with inclines and declines. Stainless steel construction provides hinged belts with exceptional strength for withstanding repetitive impacts, heavy loads, and extreme temperatures

The hinged design creates a sturdy, flat conveying surface. Hinged steel belts handle heavy, large, or abrasive materials in challenging industrial environments, from abrasive metal scrap in recycling plants to large components in manufacturing facilities.
(Hinged steel conveyor belts are unsuitable for powders and fines, which wear away at the hinges, increase the risk of jams, and slip through the cracks between pans. For fines, try rubber combination belts.)

Hinged steel belts come in 4, 6, and 9-inch pitch options withbelt widths up to 108 inches. Additional features include 1/4–3/8 inch thick precision formed pans, precision die-punched wings, single flanged and sintered steel rollers, solid locking pins, and additional options such as cleats, upgraded chain, c-channel backing, larger rollers, and more.
